Robertson Documentary
Projects
Aaron Robertson is the owner and creative director of Robertson Documentary Projects
After graduating from The University of Texas with a degree in Radio, TV, and Film, I became the assistant editor at Walkabout Productions. While there I worked on a range of projects including educational videos about African Bushman, A TV pilot, and the feature length film, Trailblazers: Women Who Juggle. In 2008, I decided to concentrate on my photography as I traveled around the country from Portland, OR to Albuquerque, NM, to Asheville, NC. In 2010 I edited a short film about the St Louise band Theodore, which was featured at the St. Louis Film Festival.
Upon returning to Austin in 2011, I directed, filmed, and edited a feature length documentary about the Austin, Texas band, Lonesome Heroes. It follows them as they travel the entire length of Highway 287, spreading their music to the masses. For more information on that film you can go here:
Currently I'm working in Austin producing music videos and photography, while also collaborating with such organizations as National Geographic, PepsiCo, the Texas Manufactured Housing Association, and The City of Austin Parks & Recreation Department.
